For Runners:
The 5th annual Vibram Tarawera Ultramarathon will be on Saturday 16 March, 2013 with a 7am start at the Redwoods Visitors Centre in Rotorua. Entry is limited to 400 runners. There are 60, 85 and 100km distance options for solo runners. Relay runners (2 or 4 person teams) complete the 85k course. See here for info. for supporters, crew and pacers.
