Duck Tours Rotorua

Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley Springs is a beautiful trout, bird and wildlife park 15 minutes’ drive from the Rotorua city centre. A pride of African lions is the main attraction so don’t miss the daily feeding at 2.30pm and lion cubs can be patted when in residence.

3D Trick Art Gallery

If animals aren’t your cup of tea- be sure to pop into 3D Trick Art Gallery. Enjoy this educational, creative and imaginative experience. With over 50 masterpieces created to trick the eye – this is a spot for the whole family! Have the camera on hand for the quirky creative photo opportunities.

Kuirau Park

Whilst in Rotorua be sure to check out Kuirau Park. This inner city geothermal wonderland is brought to life with bubbling mud pools, exciting refurbished children’s playgrounds, and steamy sulphuric lakes.  A 5 minute walk from the car will have you in awe of this natural hot spot!

Skyline Rotorua

Skyline Rotorua is the ultimate in Family Fun! Sit back & enjoy the scenic gondola ride as it provides you with break taking views over Lake Rotorua! Luging is the perfect family race – where riders control speed & direction – with smaller children being able to ride with adults.

Ball rolling at its finest! Now with four tracks to choose from – this is the ultimate adrenaline rush. Enjoy the spectacular views over Lake Rotorua before slipping & sliding in warm water! Tracks range from 250-350metres and go in a multitude of directions.

White Water Rafting

Rotorua is home to the famous Kaituna River, just 15 minutes from central Rotorua. Rafting this river is the ultimate in adrenaline where you can raft over the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world – 7metres of goodness! Mountain Biking

Mountain Biking is an experience not to be missed! With trails ranging from Grade 1-2 which have been designed for beginners, through to Grade 3-5 trails which require more skill there is something for everyone! Tick off track after track over time & slowly learn your way around the 150km of MTB Trails in the Whakarewarewa Forest. Mountain Bike Rotorua have a wide range of bikes on offer along with a brilliant café!

Volcanic Air

Volcanic Air offer a range of unique float plane tours over Rotorua.  Enjoy the thrill of taking off and landing on Lake Rotorua – whilst marvelling at the stunning landscape below. Fly over dormant volcanos; marvel at the vast range of lakes below you and even land on the Waikato River where you get to experience Okakei Korako – a geothermal wonderland before flying back to Lake Rotorua.

Volcanic Hills Winery

Enjoy the Skyline Rotorua Gondola ride which drops you of at the entryway to Volcanic Hills Winery tasting rooms which has   arguably the best view in Rotorua. Established in 2009 the Volcanic Hills tasting room was built with people in mind, creating a perfect working environment whilst making it a relaxing location for guests to sit back and enjoy. Waikite Valley

Waikite Valley Thermal Pools is a unique place to go to experience the ‘Living Waters’ of Te Manaroa Spring, New Zealand’s largest single source of pure boiling water. This water is used in the main splash pool, toddlers’ beach area, sit and soak pool and the luxurious garden pool.
